Guest sentiment
A snapshot of what local diners frequently mention about this location.
"Great food and fast service. I had the nasi lemak and cendol campur during the afternoon which was magnificent. The sambal nasi lemak was decently spicy and the cendol complemented it especially with the hot weather. The ingredients in the cendol was quite a lot (a full bowl). There were many customers around as it was a top rated restaurant in Kuantan and during peak hours. There were other kuih muih like karipap and pulut udang available at the counter. Customers would need to order at the counter and make payment immediately after ordering. Price-wise, most of it was extremely cheap."
"I use to take away. Don't want to wait long ...is a good try.. but it's very sweet hahaha . Once awhile can la. Just try. Cendol kacang Merah"
"A most try if you're ever in Kuantan. They have various types of cendol but I usually go for the plain cendol. I find the other varieties a little too sweet. Besides the cendol, you can also order some light snacks to go with it. They have pulut panggang, kuih, karipap, temosa and nasi lemak. Sometimes the wait for the cendol can be very long so you can munch a bit while you wait."
"Cendol Air Putih is always very crowded and parking can be quite a challenge, especially during peak hours. Luckily, they provide a special take-away parking spot, which makes it a bit easier if you just want to pack and go. The cendol itself is refreshing and quite satisfying, though personally I feel it’s just okay and not the very best compared to some other places. Still, it’s nice especially on a hot day. They also have extra options like pulut with cendol, and a variety of kuih-muih, which adds more choices if you want something to go along with your dessert. Overall, it’s a well-known spot and worth trying at least once if you’re in the area, but be prepared for the crowd and the parking hassle."
"Nothing beats the heat like a mountain of shaved ice drenched in liquid gold (Gula Melaka). This is pure nostalgia in a bowl."
"It has been many years since we last came here. Today, we came to Kuantan to visit our friends, and we met up with them here. While waiting for them, we ordered cendol and ABC for the first round. There were also stalls selling pulut bakar, nasi lemak, and other food. There were a lot of people, and we really enjoyed it"
"The cendol was nice, though I expected more given its reputation. Personally, I prefer Mustafa Cendol, but of course, that depends on individual taste. The queue was quite long but moved quickly thanks to the efficient counter team. Seating is available both downstairs and upstairs. There’s no air-conditioning, but the setup is still comfortable for enjoying a bowl of cendol."
"Possibly the best cendol we had so far. Balanced taste, not too sweet. The green thingy is spongy and not overly frozen. Just that lately, it seem that the ice melted easily. ABC was not bad, too. Foods wise, not many choices. Mostly were Malaysian kuih and simple nasi lemak. More spaces for seats available now with the upstairs area. Services were good and fast. Prices were affordable."
